These terms set out the agreement between you and us when you use the ForeFriends app or this website. They are governed by the laws of England & Wales. By using the app or website, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
"ForeFriends", "we", "us", and "our" mean Saltwater Digital Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16616025) with a registered office at 42 East Street, First Floor Offices, Newquay, England, TR7 1BE. You can reach us at hello@fore-friends.com.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 years old to use ForeFriends. You are responsible for the security of your account and the activity that happens under it. Please pick a sensible password and don't share it. If you think your account has been compromised, email us.
You agree to give accurate information when you sign up, and to keep it up to date.
Using the app
You agree not to:
- Use the app to do anything illegal or to harass anyone.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the app or its content beyond what's allowed by law.
- Try to break, overload, or interfere with our systems.
- Pretend to be someone else, or impersonate ForeFriends.
- Upload anything you don't have the rights to.
We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Your content
Anything you upload (round data, comments, photos) stays yours. By uploading it, you give us a licence to host, display, and share it as needed to run the app (for example, showing your round to your group). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we have to retain limited records for legal reasons.
You are responsible for what you upload. Don't post anything you don't have permission to share.
Price
The app is free to download and free to use. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll be upfront about what you're paying for and you can choose whether to take them.
Availability
We aim to keep the app and website running, but we don't guarantee they will be available all the time. We may take parts of the service offline for maintenance, updates, or for reasons outside our control.
Our liability
We don't exclude or limit liability for anything that can't be excluded under English law, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
Beyond that, and to the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to £100.
The app is provided "as is". It's a tool to help you score and share rounds with your mates, not a coaching service or a substitute for professional advice.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time from inside the app, or by emailing us. We can close or suspend an account if you break these terms or if we have a legitimate reason. If we close your account, we'll explain why where we can.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change. If the changes are significant, we will let account holders know in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes are posted means you accept them.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. If we have a dispute we can't sort out by talking, the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
